WHO WE ARE

Building A Strong Community
Founder/ Executive Director Judith Allen

Who we are:

We are a non-profit community based organization located in Lithonia GA with arms that reach around the human need.

The mission of Next Generation Youth Generation Youth Advocate Christian Ministry is to take an accountability role for the youth in our community and on our streets by advocating for teens that find themselves homeless, for whatever reason, and for families who find themselves in a homeless situation living in shelters desperately trying to stay together.

We advocate for the many children in our communities that lack adequate care and attention. We believe it is the responsibility of the leaders of the community to stand in the gap and extend our hand to parents that are in one head of household families. We teach teen moms that are young parents who are still in school or have left school how to cope with day to day issues that arrive from early parenthood.

NGYACM meets people’s need right where they are. If they are living on the streets in their car, in group homes we are there to give a hand up not just a hand out.
Our outreach program is mobile. Through partnerships and caring people like you we bring educational programs, health and nutritional education, recourses for clothing, food, transportation, and all the necessary tools and resources to get them on their feet with hope for a new future.

NGYACM is changing and strengthening the attitudes of our children about themselves and the community in which they live, in this way our youth and families will benefit the community as a whole. We are building neighborhoods that are characterized by “friendship among neighbors, watchfulness for each other, and knowledge of community resources, visible leadership, and a sense of belonging, expressing ownership, and collective responsibility.

We are strong believers in that old saying “It takes a village to raise a child”.
