If you are 15 years old or older and would like to join an organization committed to Youth, family, community and neighborhood development then this is the organization for you and your family.

Next Generation Youth Advocate Christian Ministry (NGYACM) is looking for people who care about others and their community. If you really want to make a difference, you can by volunteering to make a commitment to save our youth, our neighborhood and community.

NGYACM is an organization where teens can become leaders in their community by volunteering to take part in changing their community for the better with their thoughts and ideas. We are looking for creative thinkers, teachers, mentors’ and contributors to our neighborhood.

If you’re a teen that would like to be a solution to the problem, then this is the place for you. We are looking for the leaders of the Next Generation.

Our organization is molding and shaping young leaders. We value your thoughts and opinions and have developmental projects that only you can create. Are you an organizer, does everyone come to you for advice or just to talk? Then you are a natural leader, teacher, and adviser.

Why not put those skills to work where they will prove to be an asset to your community, family and friends. Get your friends to join you.

Parents, and teachers are strongly encouraged and expected to join, everyone is welcome at NGYACM we are here for you! To come together and see what we can do better. The wonderful thing about NGYACM is we are a brand new organization that was founded just for our youth family and neighbors in our neighborhood. It is a place where everyone can be involved in creating and partaking in something to be proud of. Here are some of the things you can volunteer to do: One hour, one day a week, any time you have is valued and needed to help our programs be a continuing success.

Teach ages 5-8

Teach ages 9-12

Teach ages 13-18

Lead field trips on Saturdays for youth ages 5-8. (Adults) Lead field trips on Saturdays for youth ages 9-12 (Teen leaders) Lead field trips on Saturdays for youth ages 13-18 (Teen leaders Projects)
Note: Field trips are community service projects that are not only done in our community, but all over the Atlanta area.

Organize door to door (day) to put out pamphlets’ and flyers in the neighbor hood.

Organize Talent for the end of the summer talent show/back to school JAM!!!! Organize volunteers for after school programs in the fall.

Organize a neighborhood parade to represent NGYACM Teen Leaders of the Lithonia community.

Organize a community team to check on the elderly once a week.

Organize a Teen leader board with activities that promote community Leadership among teenagers.

Organize a neighborhood watch working with safety agencies neighbors and businesses to stop crime in your neighborhood.

Organize a Plant and gardening group to plant flowers in the community with your green thumb club.

Organize the graffiti buster’s gang to wipe graffiti off the neighborhood signs when necessary.

Organize the neighborhood sports team, baseball, football, or basketball.

Organize a fundraising team. How many fun ways can we raise funds for our youth programs.

Volunteer for up coming youth scholarship opportunities/ teach/ learn how and where to apply for summer 2012 and fall school programs.
